Happy Earth Day from Blackbough

As we all know, Blackbough is for the girls who adore the beach – but basking in the sun, lounging on the sand, and taking a dip in the sea, all come with a major responsibility to protect Mama Nature. This is why for Earth Day 2022, we are giving our beloved community a way to join the reforestation movement and help save our earth.

The Canopy Project

With the release of our very green (and very cute!) Zooted Collection, we are donating $5 for every piece purchased to The Canopy Project of EARTHDAY.ORG. Through the planting of trees, the project aims to restore areas around the globe that are at-risk from environmental degradation. Reforestation is an accessible way to address the climate crisis, as it purifies our air and regulates temperatures. As little as $1 is enough to plant 1 tree, meaning that a single Zooted item could plant 5 trees!

Coastal Cleanup with Blackbough and Project CURMA

10% of net profits from the Coastal Cleanup collection will go towards Project CURMA, a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to safeguarding sea turtles and their habitats, until April 30. That means that for every 2 sets of bikinis from this Earth Day 2024 collection will go towards 1 day of care and rehabilitation for an average of 60-70 sea turtles on the shores of La Union, Philippines.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re excited to launch our breast cancer awareness initiative with our main beneficiary being the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). 100% of net profits from our Kyoto Pink collection will be donated to BCRF to support their mission in achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer.
