Cleaner Coasts 2024

This September, in celebration of International Coastal Cleanup Day, Blackbough Swim made every wave count. In collaboration with Project CURMA, we launched the second half of our cleanup initiative to protect the Philippine shorelines and aid in the rehabilitation of sea turtles.

From September 2 to September 30, we donated 10% of net profits from the Blackbough Cleaner Coasts Collection to Project CURMA, an organization dedicated to protecting sea turtles and their habitats in La Union, Philippines. Additionally, from September to November, we encouraged customers to add a tip at checkout, with 100% of these tips directly supporting sea turtle conservation efforts. All orders from the Cleaner Coasts Collection were packaged with care in biodegradable, locally-made boxes crafted from pandan leaves.

Thanks to your incredible support, we raised a cumulative total of $1,375.60, which has been donated to Project CURMA to continue their vital work. We truly appreciate every purchase, tip, and effort made by our amazing Blackbough community to protect our coasts and support sea turtle conservation. Together, we’ve proven that small actions can create meaningful waves of change—thank you for being part of this journey with us!
